Lunch With Daddy

This morning we got up late and got ready to have lunch with Daddy. When we got there, Mitch was waiting for us outside. Everyone in his office wanted to meet Witten, so Mitch helped me get him out of the car, and we headed in side. The security guard stopped us at the entrance, and told us that no kids were allowed on the floor. After some discussion, Mitch went to get the people that he works with and bring them out to the lobby. His boss challenged the security guard, and we realized that this was apparently a new rule that they hadn't mentioned to anyone but the guards.

After we met everyone, we headed out to lunch. This was Witten's first time in a restaurant. We decided to stick with something familiar for our first time, so we went to Chilis. You'll have to excuse the mom hair!

Witten was perfect. He sat in his seat sleeping the whole time. When we got back to the office, I decided to pull him out of his car seat and feed him before heading home. I'm trying to get him on a new schedule of eating only 6 times a day rather than 8. It's worked out well today as he's been very sleepy, so he hasn't fussed between feedings.
Right now he's sitting in his car seat beside me, still sleeping, but making a lot of weird noises (welcome to my world!) He does this all the time which is why we moved him into the closet on Friday night. We needed to get more sleep, and his crazy noises were keeping us from that. If any of you with kids watch Phineas and Ferb, then you might like to know that W does a perfect impression of Perry the Platypus! I'll try to catch it on camera at some point, and if this thing will ever let me post videos again, you can hear it and decide for yourself.

I've found the easiest way to post a video is to just post it to youtube and then embed it in your post from there.
