Birthday Dinner

We met my parents at the Rainforest Cafe, and ate there for Witten's first birthday. It was so much fun. My dad had never been, so he enjoyed walking around with Witten and looking at everything. Bev took him for a LONG walk until dinner was ready which was nice because he was busy until the food came which meant no fighting the papers/crayons/napkins/menus/ anything else he could get his hand on away from him! Dinner was good, but we found ourselves a little ill prepared. For example, his books fell out of his bag in the car, so we didn't have them. SO...Mitch went into the gift shop to get him one. Then, we realized that we didn't have anything to put on the table to put his food on, nor did we remember a bib. SO...Mitch went in the gift shop to get them. I also got him a couple of different types of sippy cups because he is NOT enjoying the Nubby one we got him.

Witten "coloring" which of course means I scribbled on the page and tried to keep the crayon out of his mouth! Exhibits A, B, and C (the new sippy, bib, and place mat).
Of course we had to get up and see the gorillas and elephants when they went off!
All in all, it was a really great dinner!
