At Witten's new daycare, they take teacher's appreciation week VERY seriously! On Monday, we were asked to fill out cards for the teachers telling them how they make a difference. Today, we had to bring 3 flower, one for each teacher in his room. Tomorrow, we have to bring artwork from our kid. Witten decided to try his hand a finger painting. We didn't use actual finger paints because the color options were too narrow, but we did buy some washable tempera paint today, and he really enjoyed making the pictures for his teachers.
It was getting pretty late though, so he rubbed his eyes quite a bit. Of course, the color mostly on his hands was purple...
which made him look like he had a black eye.
I think we'll have to do this more often. He had a good time, and we just threw a canvas down on the floor so that we didn't get paint in the grout, and he went to town.

What fun! He looks like he had a great time. Wish I had thought to do that with you when you were little.
