We decided to stop at Navy Pier in Chicago on our way to Wisconsin today. I felt like drove around in circles before we finally found the parking garage. Let me just tell you...Chicago is crazy expensive. Just to park for a couple of hours was $25! We did however find a parking place at the very front, so that was nice.
There was a little area just outside that had some fun things to do with kids. We decided to ride the ferris wheel. The kids really enjoyed it.
We decided not to do any of the other things because they were all things we could do back at home for much cheaper. Instead, we wanted to walk along the water front. Unfortunately, there was construction, and you couldn't even see the water! We did find this crazy crew though.
We eventually found a spot where we could take a family picture with the water and the Chicago skyline.
On the way back, I got one last picture of the ferris wheel while we stopped to eat.
When we finished eating, we headed out of Chicago and to our hotel in Wisconsin. Navy Pier was a nice break from driving.
