Julie arrived, and was the first to get "leid" because that's what we did to everyone who came in.
Then came the first surprise. Justin flew Julie's sister in from PA for the shower. Julie had no idea, and this was her face when she first saw Jennifer, followed by throwing her hands in the air, a picture that my camera did not recover in time to take.
Then the waterworks started!
We showed Julie the cakes which were atomically correct individual cakes. This picture will be posted for 1 day only.
Once most of the guests arrived, we went outside to eat and visit. We also had guests write advice for Julie on flip flop shaped cards. If you look closely in the 2nd picture in this set, you may get a glimpse of another anatomically correct item.

We decided to give everyone inappropriate nicknames that can't be said online, and this was Julie's face as she read them on the cups.
Then it was time for gifts. I won't be showing you guys any of those. My gift was a honeymoon survival kit. Most items were not inappropriate. 1st was snorkel gear for when they come out of the room finally and need something else to do, 2nd was cranberry juice for when she gets an infection and can't get to antibiotics because she's in Mexico, 3rd was condoms for when she's on the antibiotics as an extra precaution, 4th was wash cloths for when she figured out she no longer had room service cleaning her towels, and the 5th things is just for the people at the shower to know about.
It was so much fun, and we all enjoyed talking so much that we didn't play a single game.
