Christmas Morning

We left for Denver at 8:15pm on Christmas night, and drove to Amarillo. I got pulled over around mid-night for going 5 over (which happened to be the daytime posted speed.) The cop was really nice, told us to watch out for deer and slow down, and sent us on our way with a warning.

We pulled into our hotel at about 2:15am, got Witten fed and back in bed around 3am, and I tossed and turned until about 4:30am. At 6:30, Witten woke up again needing a bottle. We got him fed...again...and slept until about 8:30ish.

Since it was Christmas morning, we opened out stockings from Santa. Yes, he does visit hotel rooms...you just have to be creative about where you hang your stockings!
