Shelfer Family Christmas

My family has always celebrated Christmas on Christmas Eve which works out great now that I have a 2nd family to spend Christmas with too.

We got to my parents house at about 9am for breakfast with the family. It was really good. We had cinnabuns, sausage and egg casserole, pumpkin bread, and a bunch of other stuff that I don't remember now.

When we were done, Mitch and I packed up the car with gift bags and Witten and headed to the NICU. We wanted to bring baked good to all of the nurses who took car of Witten. It was so much fun to see them. While there we quite a few there, there were also many that we love that we didn't get to see. We would have gone back on Christmas, but we were driving.

After the hospital, we spent the day at my parent's house talking, working puzzles, and cooking. Of course, Witten was passed around A LOT!

We had an earlyish dinner, and opened gifts.

Mitch got a ladder tall enough to hang our Christmas lights with!

Witten was worn out by the time we were done opening gifts.

But, he woke up for one last photo before we left for Colorado.
