Some of you may know Randal Senter from ACU. Well, he not only goes to church with us, but Mitch works with him. A couple of years ago, or maybe even the Christmas before last, Randal asked him if we were dating because we were together all of the time, and if it was at Christmas, I had gone to the office party. Mitch gave an emphatic NO, and Randal decided never to bring it up again.
While the rest of the group has known that we were dating since within a month after we started, we don't flaunt it by holding hands all of the time at church, although we have started being more openly affectionate since we got engaged, Randal was not around much at that time, and had no idea. When he found out we were engaged, he said something like he didn't even know we were dating. It was so funny because we've been "official" for a year now, and we are around Randal so much in different situations, but he kept his self inflicted oath, and never asked about our status again.
