This morning, my parents and Witten came by to meet Reese. They were supposed to come by at noon so that we could meet with our photographer. Unfortunately, I was still hooked up to LOTS of cords, so we had to postpone until tomorrow.
My mom was the first to get to hold and feed Reese, and she was sure a happy GranJan!
GranDad was quite proud of his new grand-daughter too!
We had a few new things for Witten to do at the hospital while everyone else was paying attention to Reese. We brought his coloring book and crayons that Aunt Debbie got him for his birthday. I also got him a new Elmo book about the alphabet. Usually he enjoys reading, but today, he had more fun taking the crayons in and out of the box and coloring just a little in his coloring book.
At fisrt, Witten just got to look at his sister while Daddy was holding her.
Witten even got to hold his baby sister for a few minutes, and he sure was a proud big brother, and very careful with her.
I hope that he is this good with her when we get her home!
