Mya's NOT Christmasy Christmas Time Birthday

Mya's birthday is the day after Christmas, so I always try to make it a little special for her and give her her own night before we do the Terlisner family Christmas. This year the theme came after we found the cake.

My in-laws all made it in on Sunday night, and we all settled in for McDonald's for Mya's 9th birthday, followed by a cake and a gift from me and Mitch. It was a lot of fun, and the cake turned out very cute despite the checkout lady pressing down on the top of the cake and breaking the top of the bow. I just took that part of the bow off, and it kind of looked like the ends of the bow. We bought Mya the kid version of Apples to Apples, and she was so excited. Apparently she's played it at school before, and she loved it.
